Unique in its offering, and causing many in RA’s HQ to look up from their desk and remark ‘Whats this?’ we thought its worth bringing to your attention even though it was originally released a decade ago. 'Journey To The Sun' is the seminal ambient album from Canadian producer Adham Shaikh, which has undergone a makeover and is now been re released through the Interchill stable as part of their global ambient 'Spectrum Series'.
Born out of soundbytes and samples Adham recorded on his travels throughout India, the final result sees the listener follow Adham’s meanderings through the country as he encompasses a wide soundscape layered with a number of field recordings made on a DAT recorder.
