Queen of electro Miss Kittin will embark on an eight-date tour of the U.S. and Canada in September in support of the North American release of her Bugged Out CD.
Slightly camp and incredibly kitsch, it was Miss Kittin's live shows with The Hacker which earned her the title queen of electro. However these days its underground techno and old skool rave which dominate her DJ sets in between the improvised dead-pan vocals and feisty dance moves.
Miss Kittin's 'A Bugged Out Mix' was released in the UK and Europe on Resist Records in spring but the double CD has now been licenced to System Recordings for its North American release. Disc One 'Perfect Night' combines underground classics (Mike Ink), electro (Cajmere) and minimal techno (Adam Beyer) while the second disc 'Perfect Day' is a mix of Miss Kittin's favourite post-club and home-listening tracks from artists such as Wagon Christ, Monolake and Biosphere.

In September, Miss Kittin will play eight dates in the U.S and Canada. Not one to stick to the confines of the DJ booth, expect an eyeful and an earful as she struts her stuff front left and centre in between mixing records and timely purrs and aaaahs into the mic.
