  • This weekend is Labor (or Labour) Day weekend in North America. In RA terms that equates to three days of partying or two days of partying and one day of recovering. From the Montreal Eclectic Groove festival to Paxahau's 8th Anniversary in Detroit, RA previews some of the best parties happening in the U.S. and Canada over the Labor (or Labour) Day weekend... *** UNITED STATES NEW YORK Hernan Cattaneo at Crobar Sept 1 Progressive house jock Hernan Cattaneo is still lapping the globe in support of his recent comp 'Sequential'. This year he begins his Labour Day weekend campaign at Crobar New York. [details] Bill Patrick vs Butane at Element Sept 1 Robots member Bill Patrick returns from his summer stint in Ibiza for a back-to-back spin off against minimal techno producer and Alphahouse label boss Butane. The gig will be both a welcome back party for Bill and a send-off for Butane, who is moving to Berlin. [details] Christian Smith at Unified Love Sept 1 Recent Barcelona transplant and techno producer Christian Smith will spin at Love in support of his new compilation 'Ekspozicija 05: Tronic Treatment'. [details] Paxahau 8 Year Anniversary Sept 2-3 DEMF saviours Paxahau celebrate their eighth birthday this weekend with three parties to carry you through the weekend. On Saturday they host the Detroit News/Comcast stage of the Arts Beats Eats Festival from 6 p.m. -11 p.m. where you can catch Steve Bug flogging his sexy minimal tech and deep house.
