Ben Watt returns to East London this weekend for his monthly Buzzin' Fly night at Plastic People...
Ben Watt is the former Everything But The Girl producer who now heads up London house stable Buzzin' Fly. The label has had a bumper year with big releases such as Darkmountaingroup's 'Lose Control', Âme's remix of Rodamaal's 'Insomnia and 'Square Up' by Jimpster.
Watt also knows his way around the decks, releasing his 'Buzzin' Fly Vol. 3' compilation earlier this year and touring the U.S and Canada over summer. As usual, this weekend he'll be carting along the label's latest weaponry including 'Roots4Acid' by Rocco plus forthcoming outings by Justin Martin and Abyss. He'll also be roadtesting plenty of unsigned demos and the label advises: "Cheer and whistle at the ones you like and we'll put them out".
Expect a night of deep tech house and warm techno with a sprinkle of Berlin minimalism on a Funktion One soundsystem. Got work the next day? That's OK as the party wraps up at 12:30 a.m.
