Up for grabs is a huge chunk of the Turbo back catalogue, including the latest Turbo 12” series of electro and techno from the likes of Sweetlight, D.I.M. and Boys Noize. But that’s not all: Turbo and RA are giving away dozens of 12”s, mix CDs and artist albums from the top Montreal label. The lucky winner will also receive a copy of Tiga’s latest CD ‘Sexor’, autographed by groove-shaman Tiga himself. Runner up prize is nothing to sniff at either – a pack of the latest 12”s on Turbo and a T-shirt to strut around in.
Founded by Tiga, Montreal label Turbo has an impressive roster of luminaries on its books: Jesper and John Dahlback, D.I.M., Jori Hulkkonen, Boys Noize, Martini Bros and Tiga to name a few. In 2007 Turbo is both a local co-op and multinational empire, running regular parties in Montreal as well as releasing platters from international artists on a regular and eagerly anticipated basis.
