  • Second longplayer of the year on Cocoon is a debut album from German-English hybrid Pig & Dan. 'Imagine' arrives on shelves in September. Pig & Dan are Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan, who started out as progressive house producers, putting out singles on labels such as Sadie and Submission in the early noughties. After applying the progressive template of long builds and dramatic breakdowns to tech house, their music caught the attention of DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y and Sven Vath, who eventually signed them to Cocoon. Next up for the pair on the Frankfurt label is their first full-length longplayer. The ten-tracker has been made strictly for the dancefloor with ravey, hands-in-the-air techno sitting alongside wonky tech house. But why not try before you buy: P&D have posted most of the tracks on the album on their MySpace page. Tracklist 1. Sweet September 2. Sly Detector 3. Imagine 4. Globetrotter 5. Moths 6. Sympathy for the Devil 7. K-OS 8. Saturday Morning 9. Futile 10. Numbing Your Emotions (Secret Track) Pig & Dan's 'Imagine' is released on Cocoon in September 2007.
