Om Records starlet Colette mixes up dance and pop on her second album 'Push'.
Colette, or Colette Marino at the check-in desk, is the pop princess on long-running West Coast house output Om, also home to DJs such as DJ Sneak and Mark Farina. Her debut album 'Hypnotised' went to #1 on the Billboard dance charts, but she also knows her way around the decks: She has a monthly residency at the Smart Bar in Chicago, where she often sings over the top of her DJ sets, and she's even released a volume in the 'House of Om' DJ mix series.
'Push' finds Colette back behind the mic, but this time in the studio. The 13-tracker features house and electro as well as her signature breathy vocals and plenty of catchy pop hooks. The album also includes collaborations with Om labelmates Chuck Love and Black Spade.
