Techno maverick Luke Slater and Tresor regular James Ruskin are headlining this year's Closer bash on New Year's Eve.
Closer has been bringing back the "unrestrained, unrestricted" side of techno to London dancefloors since April with a penchant for eschewing the trendy names of the genre in favour of its true pioneers. Although just two parties old, the night has already had Kevin Saunderson, Ben Sims, Mark Williams and Luke Slater behind the decks.
This December, Closer are throwing their first NYE knees-up. Luke Slater, who launched the night earlier this year, returns for another gung-ho set of machine funk and techno alongside Tresor mainstay James Ruskin, who's currently prepping a new longplayer. Support comes from Closer resident Steve Strawberry plus DJs from the Religion, Inhale, Injury Time and System crews.
The party happens at a warehouse in E1 with full location details to be announced in December. Limited early bird tickets are on sale now for £15 from Ticketweb.
