Electro poppers Hot Chip drop their third full-lengther Made in the Dark this February.
Although recorded and produced by the band at home, Made in the Dark is informed as much by the live Hot Chip performances as it is by the more intimate, melancholy pop heard on second LP The Warning. Press notes for the album reveal, "Powerful amplifiers, keyboards and distortion have all crept into the Hot Chip arsenal" with two cuts 'Hold On' and 'Out At The Pictures' even recorded live in one take. Check out the band goofing around in the video for lead single 'Ready for the Floor'.

New York and L.A HC fans can catch the band performing the new album live in early February before they return to the UK to tour with Matthew Dear's Big Hands. In March, they'll plug in at various venues across Europe before doing a full tour of North America in April.
