Anjunabeats celebrates a centenary of releases this month with a 2CD/DVD set Anjunabeats 100 + From Goa to Rio mixed by label heads Above & Beyond.
Inspired by Goa's famous Anjuna beach, British trance heavyweights Above & Beyond have been issuing euphoric trancey 12"s on Anjunabeats since the start of the century. Anjunabeats 100 + includes thirty-one cuts from label regulars Mike Koglin, Super8 and Matt Hardwick, new signing Anhken and of course A&B themselves in various guises. Also included is a DVD of footage shot at Anjunabeats mega raves in Goa and Ipanema Beach in Rio, where the trio reportedly spun to a million peeps.
