Skull Disco's Appleblim has mixed the sixth volume of Tempa's coveted Dubstep Allstars series, due out next month.
Appleblim is the alter ego of Laurie Osborne, whose take on dubstep owes as much to Basic Channel as it does to the Bristol underground. By day he helms the Skull Disco imprint with Shackleton, helps out around the Tempa office, dabbles in the studio with Peverelist and sifts through demos for his newest baby Apple Pips, home to hot, bright things Martyn and Brendan Moeller. He also makes some pretty decent podcasts, too.
Dubstep Allstars: Volume 06 is Appleblim's debut mix CD and includes fresh cuts from Martyn, TRG, Peverelist, 2562 and Mungo's Hi Fi.
