- The DJ/producer will release his second mix album in October.
Sascha Funke will once again be in the mixing chair when he takes the reins of Watergate's new mix series.
Funke follows in the footsteps of Onur Özer and his debut Watergate release, which earned high marks from RA's Michaelangelo Matos. That mix trawled its way through the darker side of minimal, but, judging by the tracklisting on hand for Funke's mix, that shouldn't be the case for Watergate 02. Instead, it's a relatively lighter affair, with The Mole, Tobias Thomas & Superpitcher, Closer Musik and Dave Aju all featuring prominently. It will be Funke's first officially released mix since his 2006 entry into BPitch's Boogy Bytes series.
