  • The Unsound Festival will hold its sixth edition in Krakow, Poland this October. The event, which takes place over a week's time, includes a film program saluting the work of Andy Warhol, panels and, of course, electronic music. The big names that will be travelling to the former Eastern Bloc country include Thomas Melchior, Bruno Pronsato, Nôze, dOP, Galoppierende Zuversicht and Skream. In addition to the regular music nights, though, the festival has asked many avant-garde musicians to soundtrack many of the Warhol films playing at the festival. So, you'll be able to see the likes of Jan Jelinek playing to Empire, nsi. performing along with Kiss and Nemeth, Hess and Siewert getting down to Blowjob. And if abstract soundtracks to abstract films aren't your bag, you could always hit a workshop or two. Most notably, Wire scribe Philip Sherburne "will give a perspective on the art of writing about music."
