Louche gives Berlin residents a taste of home

- Techno upstart Seth Troxler returns to the scene of his Leeds debut on Friday October 10th, as Louche gives his Raum...musik label-mate, Miss Fitz, her own introduction to the re-styled Mint Club. As naturalised Berlin-ers they should both feel right at home, as the venue's £500k refit has strapped a Disco Panel to the ceiling: the very same lighting system that gives Watergate its pulsing neon glow. With a newly-installed Funktion One setup at their disposal, the pair will tear through their latest productions for the Raum imprint before ending the night in frantic, back-to-back style. Like the Germanic label, Louche has made its name for giving fresh talent the room to showcase the latest sounds. 2007 introduced Paco Osuna, Paul Ritch and Tim Xavier to one of the smallest, most intimate venues in Leeds. Its owners claim the revamped Mint Club is "a DJ's paradise" and "a punter's dream." With line-ups like these, there's every reason to find out for yourself.
