- The producer's November dates have been cancelled due to the passing of his mother.
Flying Lotus, AKA Stephen Ellison, has canceled all European dates this month due to the passing of his mother.
The Californian hip-hop star was due to play a number of dates across the continent, but has pulled them all to be with his family during this time. Writing on his MySpace page, he said "From Berlin to Belgium to Amsterdam to London.....I'm sorry to have to say this, but I won't be able to do the tour in Europe this November. I need to be with my family. I promise I'll be back soon. Thank you all for your love and support."
No statement has been given saying whether the dates will be rescheduled, and there has been no announcement as to how this will affect his date at London's Electrowerks with Kode9, Edit and Gaslamp Killer. US residents won't be so unlucky, however, as Fly Lo's two dates in LA and San Francisco are still due to go ahead. Here at RA, we'd like to express our deepest sympathies to Stephen, and hope that his family life stabilises soon.
