  • Paul and Phil Hartnoll are set to reform for 2009's Big Chill festival. The duo haven't played a live show together as Orbital for five years, but will reform for a special headlining performance at the Eastnor festival. In a statement to press, Phil Hartnoll has said "We've got 15 years of active service, making song. If you boil that down to a 90-minute festival set you should get something thoroughly exciting from beginning to end. Let's put some fun back into it." He also preempted criticism about the reformation, saying that the decision to get back together is "not an exercise in nostalgia, the time just seems right. Everything just seemed to fall into place". The festival takes place over the weekend of August 7-9 at Herefordshire's Eastnor Castle.
