NVC was established by musicians, music fans and last but not least friends on the summer of 2004. Since then, a whole group of djs, producers, vjs, designers and photographers were formed around the core of NVC.
Our team has been present in the Budapest nightlife culture for years and has introduced numerous international guests from the electronic and live scene to the Hungarian public. Besides our main profile that is electronic dance music we have also organized numerous live concerts and such prestigious events as Electronic Beats Festivals or Burn Studios events.
In the summer of 2007 we started our club night series called Casino Bangkok, where next to the international and Hungarian top dj’s we also provide a proving ground for talented uprising artists.
Next to our favourite clubs, as Millenaris, Merlin, A38 and Corvinteto, we’ve been doing parties on the top of Budapest at the prestigious Citadella, in the open air venue Mokka Cuka and also at the multi-cultural art centres Trafo and Godor. Besides clubbing we are present at Hungarian festivals such as Balaton Sound, Sziget or Volt and in 2009 we had the honour of hosting a stage at the MTV Ema Regional Award Show.
Some of our frequent partners include the German Embassy and the movie distribution company Best Hollywood with whom we co-operated on the events connected to the celebration of the reunoin of Germany and on the introduction of the well-known movie Berlin Calling. In May 2010, together with Burn Studios we organized the legendary event called Mind the Gap! with Popof from France as headliner. The event took place under the ground in a metro station under construction..
With the support of Deutsche Telekom‘s music and lifestyle brand, Electronic Beats, we started our new club series called Selected Sounds representing only fresh, progressive, new music genres. The event was followed soon by the Electronic Beats Live Special in May 2011, then in October, the Budapest station of Electronic Beats Festival with such names like Apparat Band or Buraka Som Sistema. In 2012 we had our own stages at all of the relevant Hungarian festivals and succesfully managed the second Electronic Beats Festival with Nicolas Jaar, Modeselektor, Junior Boys and Mostly Robot.
