Hailed as Leeds’s only workout based nightclub experience, Stretchy Dance Supply is one of the most exciting events in the north to touch down in the last year. Launched in January 2018, Stretchy Dance Supply made impact as a refreshing break away from cookie-cutter events that take themselves too seriously. Alongside high energy club music, you can expect to find moments of comedy performance and satire. The diverse music policy and continuous exercise keeps clubbers on their toes, figuratively and physically.
Stretchy Dance Supply
Stretchy Dance Supply is run by Breaka, Dubrunner, Loyal Hardware and Sourpuss. The four came together at university in Leeds, finding a shared passion in sound-system culture, specifically the styles of Breakbeat, UK Bass, Jungle and Footwork, the basis of the Stretchy sound.
The night is hosted by residents but has featured a number of artists. Sully (Keysound/Astrophonica), Soundbwoy Killah (Sneaker Social Club/Warehouse Rave) and KMAH radio’s Kodak Crack were the first to guest on the decks at Wharf Chambers in 2018.
