Restructured Recordings, an electronic music label with a focus on Detroit style techno, was started by DJ/Producer Greg Gow in 2001. In its 18 years the label has grown from a vehicle for local releases to include a slew of international artists ranging in style from deep house to groovy bangin’ techno.
With its homebase in Toronto, Restructured has a reputation for showcasing talent that is unique and relevant, which can be seen through its impressive catalogue of releases and a well rounded stylistic range of tracks. The steady growth of the label has been a critical influence in the Toronto techno scene, as well as a facilitator of cross border relationships between Toronto artists and the global techno community.
Although Restructured’s musical range is wide the label continues to draw influence and inspiration from Detroit.
