New York-via-Berlin DJ and producer Tom Peters started the Black Peters label at the beginning of 2019, a new outlet for his techno productions under the same name. The Black Peters alias first appeared on an Afterlife compilation in 2017. Now that the Black Peters label is born to give complete artistic control to the project and welcome collaborators into the fold. The first releases, ‘Hells Kitchen’ and ‘Zug Der Kraniche,’ signal the label’s bold intentions: melodic, dark and eerie spinoffs of the Black Peters sound so far.
