Tapas recordings was founded in 2006 and has been based in Cologne ever since.Driven by the same love and loyalty to the Underground scene, Emill De Moreu, Drana, Dim ad and George Kant are the current team managers of this friendly label.
Always having fun, experimenting with new sounds and aiming to progress, we are trying to give back to music, what we have gained throughout these years from it , in small different and creative amounts (Tapas).
We consider ourselves a company that has emerged from hard work and dedication to music but we never forget that we are a family. Each member of this family contributes to the goal of this label adding his own unique elements.
Our sense of purpose is to introduce to people Underground music with quality that ranges from deep to tech and organic minimal sounds. We are always looking for new sounds that shows the skills of every artist and give extreme personality to each and every one of our releases.
Always thinking forward but without forgetting the past we keep on doing what we love and respect the most…Sharing Underground music with others and watch it interact with the daily aspects of life.
There is a long list of DJ's that have supported our label from the first vinyl but our aim has always been to promote artists, they have the merit of our success, so we thank all of those who worked in the past in our label and we welcome those who will work with us in the future.
