About

  • Started back in 1999 by Jef K and his brother Antoine, aka DJ Tony Silver, Silver Network has grown to become one the most consistent House labels to emerge out of Paris. 36 releases strong and boasting names such as Chez Damier, Pepe Bradock, I:cube, Dixon, The Revenge, DJ Rasoul, Subb-an, Death On The Balcony, Le Loup and Jordan Peak, there’s no doubt the imprint has made its indelible mark on the industry. Classy. Sexy. Deep. Throughout the years Silver Network has always been about quality House music. And like the label boss himself, the releases have never failed to be charismatic and creative, bringing that positive energy to make you feel good. Putting out a string of lauded cuts in recent years from home-grown talent like Gwen Maze & Jef K on ‘Want You Back’, ‘All Alone’ EP from Shade, or Parisian House veteran Chris Carrier’s ‘I’m In Love Today’, hits have also come in the form of UK rising star Subb-an with ‘Paris Bébé’ EP. But it was ‘In My System’ that became the underground summer anthem of 2010, a collaboration between Chris Carrier, Chez Damier and Jef as The Gathering. Garnering support from all the major House DJ’s on the circuit including Ricardo Villalobos, Zip and Radio Slave, it was no surprise the track charted at no.7 in the Resident Advisor Top 50 tracks of the year. In 2002 Jef K created offshoot sub-label Crack & Speed with friend Holmar Filipsson, now better known as one part of Thugfucker, for 15 vinyl-only releases that stirred up notable hype. Nowadays though Jef is concentrating strictly on Silver Network, using his ear for talent to push a new generation of young producers, helping launch the likes of up and coming Ruthit and Arash.
