It’s just as well two particular guys met on new year's day 2007, you see before the label really got going there were just good friends. No Dough was re-launched at the beginning of 2009 by the original founder Antonio Monllor and Matthew Sargeant. As a place not only for good music and good talent, but as a group of friends sharing their work, the label has become far more than expected since then, and it all boils down to having a true passion for something , a dream, and the balls the to carry it through.
Steadily building up a solid roster of some of the hottest new artists from many countries, the concept of releasing differing styles but centring on an absolute compatibility with a good party allows a more diverse release schedule. This method is signified by our colour referenced release´s - Red, Green and Yellow. Red captures the more electronic side of an artist, hitting more peak time sounds where as Green can accommodate more natural and instrumental vibes, there are no strict boundaries. The Yellow showcase various artist´s and could be classed as a sort of taster of what’s to come and from whom. All the artworks are either painted or illustrated by hand and in their unique art forms, express the name given to each release.
