  • Alexandre Dionne and Simon Roy make up the talented duo called Stereomovers and on Addictive Records release their debut single Skydivers. Originating from Montreal they have been friends since childhood while sharing a passion for electronic music which has seen them gain popularity and a solid fan base of the years. On remix duty is the ever-impressive Canadian Envy (MV) and Englishman Kingkade. A - MV Future Fusion Mix Automatically I get excited with this young man as he is always ready to impress. This is serious party material as MV knows how to get that booty shaking with awesome basslines and fueled beats. Its tough edged and whilst using the original melodies and sounds efficiently, he is able to keep his own sound with his special additions. MV does a great job with the vocals as they can be too overwhelming. Getting to the end of the mix is a gorgeous breakdown with mellow synths whilst using the vocal perfectly on the build up. B1 - Original Mix The vocal of Skydivers is the main attraction with its smooth and very pleasing sound as this rolling, laidback track. It has a certain raw appeal as the track isn’t subjected to effects and pounding bass. B2 - MV Dubapella A short bass-less mix from MV that would suit an intro to a CD or set. The vocals are sampled and thrown around with an overall gentle feel. C - Kingkade Remix Kingkade showcases a brilliant solid and rather sleek remix while providing something different in this doublepack. With quirky percussion and a funky bassline groove, Kingkade pleases the house gods with quality production and smooth transitions. MV Future Fusion Dub MV gets a chance at a dub and totally impresses as he tones down the elements but really drives home the beat. As the vocal takes the backseat for a while, MV experiments with the melodies and creates a storming minimal tune.
