- Pashka's Life Is Hard explores the dark side of tech-house, made even darker by the vocals of Billy Love giving listeners a "That's how it is in the hood" narration of life in his city. Pashka add some really dark and deep bass to the mix, brooding strings and percussive beats adding a little shuffle to the tune.
On the flip side, ATE23's Colour Of Spring mix tweaks the vocals, utilising a feedback effect and warps them around for an interesting take on Billy's vocals. The beat is transformed to a slightly dubby breakbeat, utilising dub effects and pumping up the snares to make them sound sharp and loud - wear ear-plugs for this one - all the while keeping the bass line to a low growl.
