"I'll Leave Soon" is built around an almost imperceptible digital click tapping out the rhythm, accompanied by wind chimes, a skeletal, bassy, analogue synth and a disaffected vocal, before finally bursting into a colourful bloom of bubbling pads and rattling acidic touches. In the hands of the label heads, the track is twisted into a rumbling, atmospheric monster full of quirky guttural sounds, laser beeps and booming bass drops.
"When the Sun Rose" has an electric bass sample, hippyish vocals and soft brush percussion that injects West Coast psych rock into a minimal house framework. The vinyl-only "Colors Outside," meanwhile, welds shuddering Avalanches-style samples to Crazy P disco house. As introductions go, this belongs in the "highly promising" tray.
