A sinister and dirty stomper of a tune, Dreams kicks off with a few ambient stirrings before bringing in the subtle tribal beats. The tune builds up very dramatically adding in spooky female vocal samples while keeping true to the original theme. After a long ambient moment in the middle, the track peaks to a breaky-progressive house affair perfect for those deep and moody sections of a set.
Side B. Big Dreams
The flip side brings out the energy that seemed to be missing in Dreams and transforms it into a more uplifting prog tune. Still heavy on the four to the floor bass drum beats, Big Dreams pays homage to the old skool with cheeky cowbell taps and features loud, demanding synths on top.
