- Feed Me Records unleashes the Pope of Gegga for its next release with Storm of Pleasure. Alongside the original mix however, comes a mix from Israeli producer Moshic, a producer that continues to go from strength to strength.
The Original Mix on the a-side is a deep and dark techy affair that builds with a solid kick drum as well as some quirky sounds and a deep subtle baseline that rumbles behind the action. The track maintains a too similar flow throughout with changes in action coming too subtly with atmospheric sounds late in the track.
The Moshic Remix on the flip sees Moshic’s trademark dark and tribal influences surface for the first few minutes of the track, accompanied by some vocal wails and effects. The breakdown midway sees nice and delicate sounds float with vocal wails forming the most impressive part of the production. The track does conclude though in style after the breakdown.
A pretty good release from the Pope of Gegga, and an impressive remix from Moshic on the flip. Worth a look for those that like it a little darker.
