- The 24th release on French label Hypnotic sees Fabrice K take the challenge to continue the high quality of music that has been displayed already on this fine label. Three tracks are featured here, starting with the delicious a-side.
On that a-side is the Klair Mix of Magnificant. From the very beginning, it is clear to see this track had a very solid flow to it. Smooth drum patterns caress warm humming pads before a very funky baseline enters the production. Subtle melodic hooks feature throughout, as the track builds with various elements coming in and out while the baseline and smooth drums continue to work hard throughout. It is all in all a very impressive and smooth house production.
Firstly on the b-side is R.U.MAD? The beats get a little tougher on the flip, as this track rolls nicely with some slightly more intense drum patterns and grittier acid sounds. A simple enough baseline graces the track for the most part, and in essence is it quite a simple yet nicely constructed production.
Following this is the Radio Edit of Magnificent which is essentially a shortened version of the very lovely a-side. Straight to the point is this mix, as the baseline and main hooks get involved right from the word go.
A nice release here for Hypnotic, continuing the good trends the label has been setting of late!
