- Florian F is quite a veteran producer, a producer that has been around the scene for a few years now. It is only now, however, that he makes his debut on Italian based Mantra Vibes with Urban Jungle.
On the a-side is Urban Jungle (Across The Jungle). As the name would suggest it is quite a tribal affair. The track begins with some nice tribal influenced drums and it builds with a subtle baseline that rumbles below the beats. It soon hits a breakdown midway that is nicely produced, seeing a unique melodic pattern rise to the surface alongside warping effects. It combines to create a great unique production continuing the fine tradition on the label.
On the flip is Urban Jungle (Unique Version). This reworking is quite tougher then the a-side, with more intense drum patterns as well as a tough flowing baseline. Some quirky techy effects midway gives the track a nice touch, and the main melodic pattern makes a welcome appearance too as it intertwines with some techy twists deep in. Another very solid production.
This is quite a good release for Mantra with both sides providing some quality moments, with the a-side being a smooth tribal interpretation, and the flip a tougher late night tech house monster!
