- Feed Me Records come out with only their third release on their newly formed label, and they use the services of Filur to get the ball rolling again with Kiwi Mint Pilot. What should also be noted is that remix duties on the flip come from classic Australian DJ and producer, Kasey Taylor, who adds a class touch to the release.
The Original Mix is first up, however, and it begins delightfully with some beautiful atmospheric moments which leads into some solid beats coming into the track. These beats are crisp and are accompanied by a nice subtle baseline that gives the track a nice warm feel. There is a distinct melodic aura to this production, a fact further emphasised by the nice soothing breakdown deep into the track.
The Kasey Taylor Mix on the flip as mentioned adds that touch of class and experience to this release. The track slowly builds with smooth beats and nice layered sounds as Kasey has done so well in the past. As the track builds, the atmospheric elements slowly increase leading to the main breakdown, which is crafted very carefully and the results are very tasty.
A pretty good release for Feed Me with two pretty solid productions, with the b-side probably taking the cake for me.
