Tilt - The World Doesn't Know / I Know You're Afraid

  • Vetreran producer Tilt returns to the scene with a release on the ever consistent Lost Language imprint. Already hailed by the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong & Tiesto, this two track release is sure to be well received by not only fans of Tilt, but for any of those looking for solid melodic grooves. On the a-side is The World Doesn’t Know and it is quite an uplifting production by Tilt in the same vein as many of his past hits. Quality chunky beats as well as a pulsating baseline help this track groove along, all while echoed melodic riffs set up an epic 10 minute journey. On the flip we see I Know You’re Afraid, a production which featured on Anthony Pappa’s Balance mix. For me the more impressive track of the two, the baselines are again quite sinister as they ride amongst a set of upbeat broken beats. Quirky effects and cheeky vocal samples create a good groove and help this production become the solid track that it is. Pretty solid work by a Producer that has delivered the goods time and time again for the last decade.
