- When life gets you down, put on a Tiger & Woods record. The world might be in a dark place, but no one told these two Italian artists. As you can tell in Unleashed Tapes Vol. 2, their first solo release since 2016, they still specialise in disco that makes you smile. "Moonswing" is all about strummed guitar, soaring keys and sampled vocals, returning to the "Gin Nation"-era euphoria that gave Europe the Tiger & Woods bug in the early '10s. It builds up, down and up again, moving through a few different energy levels across its ten minutes. Just on the right side of goofy, it's classic Tiger & Woods.
"Chili Dip" is more ambitious. The guitar feels louder in the mix, which makes the track more suitable for big dance floor moments. There's even some white noise and filtering that might remind you of peak-time in Ibiza, elements that you won't find in the best Tiger & Woods tracks. As such, stick with "Moonswing," a tune that spreads good vibes without the easy tricks.
