- Moving Ninja are an Australian based garage/breakstep production crew consisting of DJ Farj and Jabba who have been instrumental in bringing the breakstep sound to Australia. Part of the Garage Pressure crew, the duo, together with DJ Paul Fraser have been responsible for putting on the Darksyde events which have seen the likes of DJ Lombardo and Hospital's Landslide deliver their underground breakstep sound to underground breakbeat enthusiasts. Their latest effort Witchdokta has been picked up by Bristolian label Vertical Sound, with a remix provided by Vertical Sound's resident sound boy 30Hz.

Witchdokta is a deep and dubby breakbeat affair. Tribal calls and tribal percussion combine with razor sharp effects cutting into the beats, whilst sci-fi effects and futuristic noise transport the listener deep into a dark, mechanoid jungle. It's safe to say it's unlike anything you've heard before taking in elements of tribal house, organic sounding drums all put into a futuristic breaks context.

30Hz reconstructs the tune taking it to a different level opening up with an altered bongo drum pattern, tribal calls in the background, before introducing a darker and harder bassline with twisted variations and effects and a crunchier drum beat, yet still keeping a distinct tribal feel to the overall track. It's a grimey take on the original done only like 30Hz can.
