First up though is Intastella’s 2004 Remake, and the track builds nicely with some deep rumbling beats that soon meet a retro style synth line taken from the original track. As the track builds, a nice smooth melody rides into the production and gives it a good upbeat vibe, a vibe which continues for the most part.
On the flip is the Karova vs Boston George Remix, and they deliver a pretty tough and gritty breaks mix. Rumbling tight baselines give the track a very chunky groove, and the tougher the track gets, the melodies become slightly more involved in the background, until the track hits a very quirky ‘air raid’ like breakdown, turning the track into a proper mind warping experience.
Not a bad release here, a release made very unique thanks to the twisted sounds of the b-side.
