- On his SoundCloud page, Rahul Yusina cryptically states: "you can't see me, but you can hear me." That's basically true. There's little info to report about the producer, who just released his first record (self-titled) on his own label (also self-titled). All we know is his name, his listed location (Neusäß-West, Germany, Afghanistan) and his music, which is finely crafted deep house: dark, warm and, at 130 BPM, urgent in a way that contrasts with its mellow, late-night vibe. On both tracks, candlelit atmospheres are shot through with thumping, perfectly sculpted grooves. Both seem to exist, as such straight-forward dance music should, purely for themselves and the moments they create. This may be his first record, but Rahul Yusina doesn't sound like a beginner.
