- KiNK was the only producer invited to contribute a remix for the upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of The Chemical Brothers' Surrender LP. It makes sense: in some ways, the Bulgarian producer's livewire energy on stage mirrors the UK duo's larger-than-life style. KiNK reworks Surrender's biggest single, "Hey Boy Hey Girl," into a writhing, acid-infused banger, keeping its trademark vocals and swirling its main melody into a psychedelic breakdown. There are hints of The Chemical Brothers' big beat style, but it's a tried-and-true KiNK banger in every way, one whose unstoppable energy never gets tiresome. It's as much as you can ask for from a remix of a classic.
