- Japanese DJ & Producer, Osamu M, is next up on the Womb Recordings roster with his latest production, Smoky Forest. A promising talent, this release has already seen support from big guns in the DJ’ing world in John Digweed & Deep Dish.
First up is the Main Mix. The track has quite an enchanting feel throughout, with floaty effects and nice dreamy feel to it, despite the fact that the beats are quite solid and the baseline quite chunky. It’s a very nice production perhaps lacking the cutting edge that makes a great track incredible.
The Ambient Mix on the flip is just that, a long ambient journey. It’s quite minimal, even for an ambient track, but it flows nicely for the most part with small melodies and good atmosphere.
Not a bad release here from Osamu M with the Main Mix sure to get the most value for most with its smooth aura.
