- For the fourth release on Wallop Limited, we see Robin Tabor and James Levack team up under the guise of Two’s Company to deliver a meaty house production with the vocal talents of Sabrina Johnston. Steve Finney helps the release along with a remix under his Distance guise.
First up is the Original Mix, and straight from the word go, this production throbs its way into proceedings. Dark and sinister, especially early on, with the broken beats and pulsating baselines. The vocal is quite haunting in a good way, especially midway in as they merge with the clattering beats, and they work nicely throughout the whole track. Nice tough dirty music here!
On the flip, Distance lightens the mood up a little beat with a pretty upbeat remix. But don’t get me wrong; this remix is just as sinister as the original. Electro baselines give the track a gritty edge, with good solid beats merge well with the vocals, which are again prominent. Watch out for Steve Finney, as he looks set to make this label a pretty strong force!
