ZGR - Zero Hours

  • Ozgur Can features here under his ZGR guise to deliver a pretty nice release for the Segment Records imprint. Ozgur tries to deliver the goods yet again with Zero Hours while Perry O’Neil looks to follow suit with a remix on the flip. The Original Mix is first up and it is another pretty uplifting progressive monster from Ozgur. Expect the usual trademarks, that being the deep rumbling baselines alongside an uplifting set of string patterns that really create a beautiful ambiance. He has certainly delivered again with this stunning progressive anthem. Perry O’Neil adds a pretty funky edge to the release with his remix on the flip. Not as epic as the a-side, the track does good things with a smooth baseline and a nice flow, however the track loses me as it goes a little too trancey and formulaic as it builds. A great a-side track here on this release, and I really wouldn’t bother with the remix as Ozgur does all you need with the Original Mix.
