- Melancholy Rage was originally signed to Oven Ready Productions but this time Segment have licensed it for two new remixes of the track originally written by Matt Black.
The Eelke Klejn Mix is first up and he delivers a very smooth Progressive production that features some pretty standard beats and some smooth strings. The main breakdown sees the track become more uplifting thanks to some melodic patterns and a smooth baseline. Not a bad reworking but nothing exceptional.
Nick Hook gets his hands dirty on the flip with his reworking and he does a bit better for me delivering a slightly more sinister reworking thanks to some grittier baselines and some smooth vocal stabs. The track really takes off late on as some nice melodic patterns combine with the gritty sounds and effects.
