  • The second release from Institution recordings comes in the shape of Pqm Vs Phil K - They Just Won't Let Me Be, a track first played by Sasha in 2003 and has been floating around for some time since becoming a valuable tool in many a Dj's set. The Original mix is a haunting piece of music with an eerie vibe from the start that's set with swirling pads and heavy breaky drums that begin to creep in before the vocal kicks in and its full steam ahead with a concoction of guitar riffs, ecstatic vocal cuts and sub-bass sounds that pull it down to a deeper level for the break. This has a live feel to it as constant heavy rhythms throughout keep us in suspense while underneath a steady movement of dark sounds do their best to break through further. The Habersham & Relisys mix fits it into a dance friendly mould with a more tribal orientated take. From its start a combination of 4/4 beats and rolling tribal percussive elements are mixed with sounds from the original that retain the haunting mood, taking it up a notch with full use of the vocal and guitar cuts which really dictate the overall vibe.
