Muzo - 3rd Hour

  • Segment records has struck a chord in peoples ears with their current release , a remix package from Nick Hook and Eelkie Kleijn of head man Matt Black's Melancholy rage. The next installment of uplifting beats comes from Turkish producer Muzo Berberglu aka Muzo . 3rd Hour is a combination of soft house beats coupled with stabby synthlines that set's to work in creating an atmospheric, warm flavour while swirling vocals seep out between the beats that both hypnotize and entice. The flow is kept at maximum throughout as constant underlying bleepy sounds come to the fore momentarily while melodies shift underneath and mesmerise us a little further. On the flip side comes What we do which is the sort of track your likely to hear peaktime in a club , bringing together tight, glitchy percussion and a wash of breathy pads that add weight behind the driving beat. Midway the track strips right back to just a vocal before setting off again with broken beats , twisting back to 4/4 again with a dancing melody line that keeps with the peaky mood till the end.
