- EFA, one of Germanys most renowed independent record labels, has released it latest collection of House artists for the ever-hungry public.
Describing it’s the release as "Modern house sound from deepest Germany" to some may evokes images of filthy warped electro regurgitation designed for the disturbed but in reality this album is far from this, it’s a fresh, light compilation of some excellent soulful house music
The opening track "Glance" feat. Marlene Johnson sets the tone for the album as it skips along with its housy 90bpm mixed with liberal servings of funk and jazz samples; Marline of course providing some choice soulful vocals. As the album meanders through the other 10 tracks the music never deviates too far from the opening style. Some great contributions are provided through the likes of Polyester recordings, Soul Camp and Compost recordings making this a quality addition to any house addict’s collection.
