- Dominica have been around for quite a little while, and many of you may remember their very tasty production ‘Real Time’, a track that had a very seductive groove and summer feel. This time they return with another piece fo summer beauty with a tasty two tracker, of which the a-side in particular has been cherished by Roger Sanchez, including it in his Release Yourself album.
This World is a smooth and relaxed house cut, featuring some smooth basslines and a tender and soft vocal sung by Claire Lewis. It maintains a pretty steady flow throughout, using some smooth drums and effects while the vocal does most of the hard work to keep the track upbeat and exciting.
It Takes Control is a slightly more tougher production, using some solid beats and percussion as well as a smooth bouncy bassline. Some subtle melodies work well with the smooth pads and filtered vocal lines that enter the track midway in, giving this release another smooth production.
