- The next release on the always upbeat Eyezcream Recordings comes from Lifelike and their Adventure EP.
The title track, Adventure, is quite energetic from the word go. It builds with some pretty smooth thin drum patterns and a high pitched vocal wail that continues throughout the track. Soon enough though, it turns into a pretty big summer anthem as some nice string patterns take over as well as some smooth seductive basslines. It follows a good formula, and for those looking for some smooth summer peak time house, then this should definitely suffice.
High On is on the flip and it is takes the release to a tougher sound with some intense loops flowing for the most part. The track takes a smooth breakdown midway in, unleashing some nice uplifting notes which then blend in to the surrounding quite tastefully making this another very solid track.
This is a very solid release, and one that you would imagine would work well on the summer islands, as it delivers two very solid upbeat house productions.
