- Mara's Barry Gilbey and Sara Whittaker-Gilbey cannot do wrong at the moment and this EP supports my claim to the upmost. With some notably big remixes gracing many a DJ box including Dino Lenny’s "I Feel Stereo", it was time to see a pure Mara production.
"Stripped Beats" EP contains two very exciting tracks, "Computer Beats" and "Coming Down" Stripped to Phunk Remix.
"Computer Beats" holds to classic Mara production with massive basslines and rolling percussion accompanied by weird electric noises. Definite killer club track.
With the success of the original mix of "Coming Down" still stinking up the joint, the Stipped to Phunk remix hits the spot. Added to this a chunky bass and gracious melodies and you will be pleased to hear this baby while on the groove.
This is Mara at it's best.
