Side A. Soul Of Man Remix
Starting off on an electro breaks tip, this version rides on that funky Fingerlickin' style that Soul Of Man, Drummatic Twins, Lee Coombs etc are so renowned for. Hard beats, chunky electro stabs are promonent throughout, with Lazy's raps thrown in to get the crowd chanting along - and they will. One for the warehouse raves and breaks parties especially with the sirens thrown in.
Side B. Skeewiff's Ready Rolled Mix
BIG BEAT!!! That is what everybody will scream once they hear this track... and no big beat isn't a dirty term - it stands for those funky, fun tunes that gets butts shakin' and this track is no different. Uptempo vibes with 60's or 70's guitars and bass with the funky drums and cowbell beats underlaying the cut up lyrics.
Side B2. Wicked Lestor Mix
Pull out the lino and get breakin'! Probably paying homage to those electro b-boy tracks from 97/98 done by the likes of the Freestylers and Laidback, this tunes is for the breakers in the house with it's electro styling and big beat rhythm - ol' skool drum beats with 70's guitar and bass. Definitely the pick of the three mixes as well and one that the crowd will enjoy for years to come.
A fresh take on a genre that many thought was dead - it was just laying dormant for someone to revive it properly - and there are 3 decent mixes to choose from.
