Are you going to charge to view Resident Advisor's editorial content?
No. We believe that our content should be free for everyone to enjoy. We will not place it behind a paywall. Historically, this has been facilitated by digital advertising on the site and ticket sales. These revenues have been significantly disrupted and we are offering this subscription service as a way for our community to support us where they can.
Where does the money go?
The money will be used to directly support the independence and integrity of our editorial output. This means helping to pay for our in-house staff writers and as well as freelance commissions from our global network of contributors. We believe editorial independence and integrity are fundamental to our work, and your subscription fees will be directly supporting this.
I don't want to subscribe, can I make a one-time contribution?
One-off contributions are welcome and appreciated. You can make a contribution here.
When will I be charged for my membership?
Monthly subscribers: The initial payment when you subscribe covers your first month. You'll then be charged on the same calendar day of each subsequent month.
Annual subscribers: You'll be charged for the full year immediately when you join, then on the same calendar date each year going forward. We'll let you know by email a month before we take payment again.
What if I want to give more?
You can choose to give more during the signup process—just log in and select the amount you'd like to contribute for your subscription.
How can I cancel my subscription?
Monthly subscribers: Your subscription is renewed monthly. If you cancel your subscription, you'll stay a member for the rest of the month, but your account will not automatically renew once that ends. To cancel your subscription, please contact our support team here
Annual subscribers: Your subscription is renewed yearly. If you cancel your subscription, you'll stay a member for the rest of the 12 months you joined for, but your account will not automatically renew for another year once that ends. To cancel your subscription, please contact our support team here.
What is the minimum subscription term?
The minimum subscription term for monthly subscriptions is one month. For annual, it's one year.
What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, we don't offer refunds, however, if you're an annual subscriber you have a 14-day cooling-off period. Just contact our support team here to let us know.
When will I receive my merch?
You will receive your merch around five working days after the cooling-off period has passed.
My merch hasn't arrived. What do I do?
Your merchandise could take up to four weeks to arrive depending on where you are in the world. If you have still not received it after four weeks, please contact our support team here to let us know and we'll track it for you.
Can I become a subscriber if I don't live in Europe or the US?
RA supports local scenes all over the world, and everything included as a Resident Subscriber or Resident Subscriber+ is available worldwide. For annual plans, we will ship everything for free, worldwide (within reason).
I would like to buy a gift subscription, is this possible?
Absolutely. Carry out the transaction using your own account and we can transfer it to whoever you like. Send us a message here as soon as possible so we can confirm the recipient address for the merchandise.

Yes. We will contact you via email so that you can make your selection.
What quality with my prints be?
Photos will be printed at A2 on C-Type, Fuji Gloss, 246 GSM paper.
When will I receive my print?
We are currently working on the prints and are expecting them to ship in August.
