Lee Burridge and Demi - 2004 Miami WMC Perspectives
Didn't make it to Miami for the 2004 Winter Music Conference? We've lined up some DJs to spill the beans with their Miami experiences to give you a better idea of good (and bizarre) stuff that went down.
Lee Burridge
What was your highlight at this year's WMC?
Seeing Bill Patrick wearing the horrible silver g-string we gave him, at 6am on Washington St. Nasty!
The most inform DJ/Live act at the conference was...
Jeff Mills or Magda.
Which WMC party did you enjoy most?
Of course the party I played at with James Z was the one I was always going to enjoy most. The Richie Hawtin party was a lot of fun to go bust out my dance moves at though.
Funniest experience in Miami this year?
Silver g-string (see above(NASTY!!!!))
Who were you most surprised by?
The maid. While in a rather compromising situation with my girlfriend. "Honestly.....this is Bill Patrick's silver g-string"
You ended your time in Miami by...
Leaving our party, going for breakfast in a complete state and being entertained enormously by the excellent gay waiter with a photobook of him stroking the chests of various other musclebound gay men he thought were hot and listening to his sarcastic comments about table 6 then being given a magic show by a homeless guy with no teeth and several disappearing cigarette tricks who kept pulling the best e faces ever, walking up the beach to the hotel while observing the early morning metal 'detectors' who must find at least 3 or 4 dollars a month to supplement there income(worthwhile hobby?) and then packing and eventually getting to the airport to discover Sander wearing the same pair of pants as me.
The shame of it!
Demi
